We used standardised tests at our school in the US to inform our instruction. I'm not sure "getting more passion back" is a goal that you could coach someone on but this might provide a starting point (from the teacher) to develop some specific goals that might ultimately lead to this. Good coaching should be energising and motivating for the coachee so I do think that it can reignite a passion and sense of fulfillment that might have dimmed slightly. "I love learning" and am excited about teachers who are passionate about teaching. The only issue I have is the focus in the US is on "teaching to the test". If we encourage our learners to own and drive their learning, then teachers' roles change. The environment changes. Wouldn't it be great if the environment was all about encouraging creativity, innovation, and maybe throw in some joy and play? What if we create job embedded professional learning that models this type of environment? It can be easy to blame other teachers for this or that, but what truly concerns me is the environment in which learning occurs.
